This Amira kilim was woven by hand in Afghanistan from hand-spun wool, coloured with vegetable dyes. Typical of this piece: an orange-red centre field with a vertical row of stepped diamonds in light blue and cream, framed by several cream borders. A size that works well in a seating area or children's room.
