This Amira kilim was woven by hand in Afghanistan from hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes. In the photo you can see a red centre field with a large ochre medallion with hook motifs, surrounded by a border of small diamonds in green and sand. A handy size for by the front door, beside the bed or in front of the fireplace.
