This South Persian Balouch soumack was partly woven and partly knotted by Qashqai nomads, from hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes. In this piece you see many narrow horizontal bands with small geometric motifs in red, ivory and blue. Large enough to carry a complete seating or dining area.
