Chirwan 169 x 228 cm
A blue-red medallion in the middle of an orange-brown field forms the centrepiece of this Chirwan.
This Chirwan was finely hand-knotted by Turkmen Afghans, from hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes. The rug has an orange-brown field with a blue-red central medallion and scattered stars and floral motifs, with a dark border. This size fits well in a seating area or bedroom.
