Chirwan 273 x 371 cm
A grid of stepped diamonds on pink-beige gives this spacious Chirwan rug a soft tone.
Turkmen Afghans finely hand-knotted this Chirwan from hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes. Look at the pattern and you see a pink-beige field with a grid of stepped diamonds in red and blue and a narrow border with small motifs.
