Gabbeh 87 x 127 cm
Plain dark blue, with four orange animals walking into the field.
This Gabbeh from Iran is hand-knotted in wool. The plain dark blue field is calm, which makes the four orange animals stand out all the more. Simple, playful figures like these are typical of Gabbeh rugs. At 87 x 127 cm it is a lovely rug beside the bed, by a reading chair or in a child's room.
