Gaisjgai kilim 166 x 246 cm
A blue Gasjgai kilim with rows of hexagonal medallions in red and cream.
Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran wove this South Persian kilim by hand, from hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes. Its hallmark is a blue field with rows of hexagonal medallions in red and cream, within a border of sand and dark blue. A size that works in a seating area or children's room.
