This Kazak rug was hand-knotted by Turkmen Afghans, from hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes. What stands out: a dark blue stepped medallion with small tree motifs on a bright red field, within a blue border with a hook motif. A nice size for the seating area or bedroom.
